Rovers In The Community - 2009

Posted on: Wed 07 Jan 2009

Doncaster Rovers Community Foundation (Rovers in the Community) will be continuing the good work in 2009. The team lead by Community Manager Eric Randerson will be out and about in the borough of Doncaster (and beyond) delivering a vast range of football based sessions.

Schools Programme
A new year, a new term, sees a new schools programme for the Rovers in the Community team, with many old favourites still on the coaching timetable. However most pleasing is to see the new schools that have come on board such as Heatherwood, Don Valley & Scawsby Rosedale. In total RitC will be delivering 45 sessions per week in 19 different schools & colleges with well over 50 hours of football, multi-sport and multi-skills sessions taking place in breakfast clubs, term time, after schools or in evening club format. In addition to the schools programme RitC will also be delivering organised sessions such as those detailed below.
