"Having obtained the Bronze award in July 2008, we started the process of achieving the Silver Award. The criteria for reaching the Silver Accreditation is extremely high, and we had to achieve the required standards which are:"

- Charitable status in place
- A continuous personal development plan
- Themed officer - We have two themed officers in place at the moment these are 'Girls & Women's Development' and 'Social Inclusion'
- Audit report
- 3 year business plan
- Delivery of programmes under all 4 of the Football League themes - Sports Participation, Health, Education, Social Inclusion
- Representation on local decision making groups
- Partnership working
- Human resource policy
- Player appearances
- Wider media coverage
- Working relationship with the club's Centre of Excellence/Academy
- Diversity standard - We are currently working towards the national preliminary kite mark
- Staff qualifications - All staff have up to date FA qualifications
