Doncaster Rovers Sports Foundation held their first ever health walk last Saturday 12th June.
The walk was completed by 18 children and adults from the Junior Rovers supporters club and included a fun based multi-skill session and a mini stadium tour to finish.

Health and Wellbeing Manager, Richard Bailey said:
"I am really happy how the walk went. It was a very enjoyable and active day for all!"

The team had an England theme to tie in with England's first World Cup match and received a lot of admiration from fellow walkers and joggers and around the lakeside.

Guest of honour Donny Dog also completed the one-hour long walk. The loveable dog even had time to meet up with donkeys, camels and ponies from the touring circus around the stadium.
This walk is the first of many walks planned by the Doncaster Rovers Community Foundation team.

The new initiative hopes to increase family fitness by encouraging fans to walk from their surrounding local villages to the ground on a match day.
