Rovers Academy youngsters have enjoyed an excellent half-term programme welcoming young sides from Championship and Premier League clubs as they continue to develop as young players and young people.
Our U13s welcomed Liverpool’s U13s to the Keepmoat Stadium to test themselves against one of the best academies in the world responsible for some greats of the English game including Steven Gerrard and more recently produced Premier League Winner Trent Alexander-Arnold. Rovers youngsters learned a lot and conducted themselves excellently in the match.
In addition to the regular Foundation and Development phase training, which continued throughout the half-term, our teams also tested themselves against sides from Sheffield Wednesday, Preston North End, Sunderland, and Notts County.
