In line with the Government national lockdown and EFL guidance, Rovers Academy U9-U15s programme will now be paused until at February 26, 2021.
This date is fluid and the club will continue to ensure that any decisions it makes around return to training are taken with everyone’s safety at the forefront of its thinking and with every step properly risk assessed.
Although the training and games programme will be paused, the club are working on providing online workshops and home exercise programmes for all age groups in order to support the development and learning of its young players throughout these unprecedented times.
Based on EFL guidance, the16 programme is currently being reviewed based on training with the Under 18 squad, however there will be no U16s games programme in place. Information on the outcome of this review will be communicated to parents/ guardians of players as soon as possible.
