Former Peterborough United and Lincoln City defender Steve Welsh is head of coaching at Rovers Academy.
Since his arrival at the club, the standard of coaching has increased and it has transformed in interactivity.
Steve has an illustrious playing career under his belt, having started at Cambridge United in 1990. He went on to make more than 150 appearances for Peterborough United.
Following his retirement from professional football, Steve tried his hand at management, leading Spalding United and Boston United across a period from 2004 until 2009.
Steve joined Rovers in 2019 after his predecessor, Tony Cook, was promoted to Academy manager.
