The Belles will be hosting their first ever boot drive on Sunday November 10 as they look to raise awareness of equality and diversity in Doncaster whilst helping a local refugee team.
The side, Doncaster Conversation Club United (DCC United), have been training at the Club Doncaster Sports Park for the past few months and joined a seven-a-side evening league earlier in the year.
While sponsorship for shin pads and kit has been achieved, the team have really struggled to source suitable footwear (preferably astro trainers but football boots are welcome).
To help, the Belles are holding a boot drive where supporters are invited to donate old boots and trainers to help support DCC United.
If supporters have any boots (either astro trainers or football boots) which are no longer in use and can be donated to the team, they can do this by dropping the boots off at designated point outside Oxford Street before Sunday's game against Bedworth United.
