Belles head coach Zoey Shaw feels Filipina international Eva Madarang will be an exciting signing for the Belles after the midfielder signed on the dotted line.
Madarang arrives in Doncaster after time playing college football in America, as well as playing 13 times for the Philippines, and Shaw believes her new midfielder can bring something very different to the Belles.
“We’ve just been missing something that Eva will bring to the side, she’s got that bit of flair and a real energy about her, she has that experience as well, and when you see her play, you’ll see her run from box-to-box to try and build up play,” she said.
“She has so much quality that we think can steer that ship in the middle of the park, she’s only 21 but when she plays on the pitch she’s very vocal, she was like that from day one in training, you’d maybe expect her to be quiet but she was straight on it which was great.
“She’s very demanding and commanding, she’s played at a high standard before and she’ll be looking to get everyone going, but we’re very happy that she has chosen to come here and help us, it’s a very exciting signing.”
