Andy Butler is hopeful the fans will be with his side every step of the way as he prepares for his first league game in charge of the Belles on Sunday.

Burton Albion are the opponents as Butler steps into the dug-out at Oxford Street for the first time in the FAWNL Division One Midlands, and after bringing in three new signings this week ahead of the Brewers’ visit to Rossington, the new manager is confident that Belles fans can see a strong second half of the season from his side.

“I’m sure the fans will come out in their numbers too, we want everyone to see what we’re building here, I’m excited, I know the players are too, and hopefully we can get some big results in the second half of the season,” he said.

“We’ve brought some bodies in this week that we’re sure can really help us, as well as improving on what we already have here, it’s good competition for everyone to improve so to have the numbers there will be good for us.

“It’s all on us and the players to go out there and show everyone what they can do, every game is a big one between now and the end of the season, we have to make sure the girls do what we’ve asked from them and I’m sure they will.”

Tickets for Sunday's FAWNL Division One Midlands clash with Burton Albion are available on the gate at Oxford Street and are priced at £3 for adults and £1 for 17 and under.
