Belles held their first online meeting on the weekend as they continue building towards the 2020/21 season.
The meeting hosted on Zoom created an opportunity for the squad to have an online get together and catch up on how they’ve been getting on during lockdown.
As well as a social occasion, manager Andy Butler was able to start laying out more concrete plans for the season ahead.
“It was great to get together as a squad again. It’s been a while since we’ve been able to do that and you could feel the excitement of having everyone back together even if it was online,” said Butler.
“It’s been a long time since we’ve played a football match or trained together but I’ve been sending out fitness sessions to the players and suggesting a few ways to keep their eye in so we'll be ready to hit the ground running.
“We’re talking about the way we want to play and what we want to achieve - it's great to be able to start putting some really positive things in place for next season. Everyone’s really looking forward to getting back to training and playing in front of the fans again.”
