The FA Women's National League have confirmed that the fixture programme has been suspended with immediate effect.

This comes after the recent developments in the COVID-19 pandemic, with the government advising against all non-essential contact and travel.

The Belles had already made the decision jointly with Lincoln City to postpone Tuesday's game, and the FAWNL have now stated that all games across Tier 3 and 4, and reserve leagues, are suspended until further notice.

A statement from the FAWNL reads: "Following updated developments with COVID-19, the FAWNL has taken the decision to suspend all league matches with immediate effect.

"This action, which will be kept under constant review, has been taken following government advice to avoid all non-essential contact and travel.

"The FAWNL will continue to liaise with the FA and the wider women's football pyramid to re-assess this position on an ongoing basis."

As a result of this, the Belles have also suspended all football activity from the first-team through to the RTC.

The club will also look to provide a further update for supporters in due course and news regarding future fixtures will be provided when information is available.
