Official hydration drinks partner at Club Doncaster iPRO have made a generous donation to help frontline staff fighting the COVID-19 coronavirus in Doncaster.
Through iPRO’s partnership with the club, the company has donated 800 bottles of its low-sugar hydration drinks to fuel medical staff at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Lucy Darrall, commercial manager at iPRO, said: “We are delighted to work with Club Doncaster to donate our wellness hydration drinks to NHS staff who are working on the frontline to fight this virus.
“We at iPRO believe that looking after mental and physical wellbeing is of utmost importance during this time and we hope that our donation of healthy drinks will raise morale for NHS staff and encourage staff to stay hydrated.”
iPRO has been involved with the club as an Official Partner since 2014, and recently extended its support across the whole of Club Doncaster to incorporate Doncaster Rugby League and Doncaster Rovers Belles.
Head of commercial at Club Doncaster Jon Warburton added: “The team at iPRO contacted us and asked if there was any way of us helping them to support the frontline efforts to fight the coronavirus in Doncaster.
“Through our close relationships with Sodexo who provide catering services to both the Keepmoat Stadium and Doncaster Royal Infirmary, we were able to facilitate the donation.
“It really is a shining example of the community minded spirit that embodies so many of our Official Partners and we hope it comes as a boost to staff at the hospital.”
The Club Doncaster Official Partner programme is now up to 65 partners, who are all working together to build their businesses in Doncaster and beyond.
