Belles captain Kirsty Smith wants her team-mates to use the prospect of a promotion push as motivation to get them through the second national lockdown of 2020.
Government restrictions mean all the Belles’ fixtures for November have been suspended, while they are not even allowed to train.
Smith said: “The lockdown is absolutely gutting for all of us, but it is a time to smash our individual training and workouts.
“Every time we do a workout, we should be thinking about why we are doing it and how we are going to benefit from that once we are back out there in the pitch.”
