Belles midfielder Lindsey Tugby stressed the importance of Sunday’s game against Leek Town to carry on the great form from September
Tugby said: “I think we’ll keep on improving from last Tuesday against Long Eaton and keep plugging away.
“We’ll try not to put the pressure on the team, we’ll keep building as a squad and take the momentum forward to our next game.”
Tugby made her debut against Long Eaton United last Tuesday and she was inches away from scoring her first goal for the club. The midfielder says she is focused on getting more minutes under her belt.
She added: “It was disappointing not to play last Sunday, I haven't played many games this year due to injury but there will be other opportunities.
“We are gelling really well and we are in a great position moving forward as a squad”.
