Andy Butler was pleased with the Belles as they cruised to a 3-0 win against Leafield Athletic on Sunday, but believes there is still more to come from his team.

Butler said: “We told the players it was always going to be a tough match on a dry pitch. It was difficult to try and play football but fair play to the players, they grafted and they scored 3 great goals.

“I thought the first 20 minutes we were on the back foot and allowed them to get control, we spoke in the drinks break about upping the intensity and the press and we did that.

“I still feel like we are in second or third gear, I believe there are still more gears for us to go into. I feel the players are starting to find that confidence again, three goals, clean sheet and three points, great day."

The Belles will not have long to enjoy their victory as they are thrown straight back into the action on Tuesday night as they host Long Eaton United at the Keepmoat Stadium.

“We're really looking forward to it," Butler added.

"I want see players go and express themselves on the pitch.

"You don’t get many opportunities to play at a stadium like this. We need to take the opportunity and show what we can do against Long Eaton.”

Fans can enter the stadium via Turnstile 17. Tickets are priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions. Doncaster Rovers season ticket holders can purchase a ticket for £2 on production of their season ticket membership card.
