Andy Butler is hoping to bounce back after defeat to Lincoln City last Wednesday as the Belles face Bedworth United this Sunday.
The side head to the midlands after ten days without a game and Butler believes the work his side have put in during the break has been second to none.
Butler said: “Overall, it was a positive start to the season with the two 1-0 wins but we said we can get even better.
“We dropped our standards in the last game. We have taken the week rest to assess the last three performances to see where the positives and also where we can improve.”
With standards in training so high, Butler said competition for places in the team is high.
He added: “Every position is available. I want players to be knocking down the door to get their name into the team for the weekend.
“I want a controlled performance this Sunday, controlling the tempo with and without the ball.
“We must not take it lightly, because every game is difficult in this league. We will have to be on top form to get anything from the game. Anyone can beat anyone in this division.”
The match kicks off at 2pm on Sunday September 5, at The Oval (CV12 8NN).
Tickets are priced at £4 and £2. If you can’t make it to the game you can keep up-to-date with the action on Twitter, live match updates will also be available on Switch Radio FM which you can find online.
