Andy Butler was delighted by the attacking display that the team showed on Sunday, winning 3-2 against Bedworth United in the FA WNL Division one Midlands.
Butler said: “We are growing in each game we play, you can see the confidence coming back.
“Performances will come, as long we keep digging in and keep improving game after game and eliminating the mistakes, we are heading in the right direction.”
Switching to a diamond in midfield with Hannah McWilliams playing just behind Jasmine Saxton and Jess Price worked wonders for the Belles and Butler was delighted with the way his team adapted.
He added: “Hannah picked up pockets of space which we knew would be the case, the link up play up front was fantastic, you have to create space behind to create space in front and we did that well.
“It became more like a basketball game with end to end football rather than a controlled match. It was hot so it was going to take a lot of the players mentally and physic
“I felt we showed good composure to see out the game”.
