Belles manager Andy Butler was frustrated with the performance, as the Belles fell to a 2-0 loss to title-challenges Lincoln City on Thursday night.
Butler said: “It was always going to be a tight match because Lincoln are a good side. Just felt like we didn’t apply ourselves the way we can.
“We had good chances at 1-0 which we were unlucky hitting the crossbar. An off day for us, it’s the harsh truth but we need to put this behind us and look forward to the next game."
With a weekend break for the team, Butler reflected on the run of games that the team have had so far this year.
He added: “We can’t get too down from this, we are still in a good position with six games to go anything can happen.
“We did extremely well to go seven unbeaten, the team deserves plenty of credit. We will look forward to Bedworth next Sunday."
