Belles U14s and U16s were given an incredible opportunity last week when they travelled to St Georges Park at Burton on Trent to take part in a coaching session.
St George’s Park is home to England National Teams training camps with senior and youth representational men’s and women’s team using the facilities as a training base.
The young Belles were treated to a tour of the football centre and hotel before taking part in coaching sessions led by Belles Regional Talent Centre (RTC) staff as well as staff from England Football Learning.
These sessions were filmed and will be used for future content on England Football learning education courses to help develop new and existing coaches understanding of the game and make suggestions of sessions that they might want to deliver.
This opportunity is part of a long-term relationship between England Football learning and the Belles which dates to the incredible groundwork and Foundations put in by the late Julie Chipchase.
Belles RTC technical Director Amanda Greenslade said: " This was a great opportunity for the girls to be involved in the event.
“They were able to see the fantastic facilities at St George’s Park and see the areas that current England players use whilst on International Camps. We are hoping this experience will have inspired the girls to work towards their dreams of being a future lioness.
"The girls were fantastic in all the sessions that they were involved with and were a credit to themselves, their parents and the RTC."
