The Belles are back in action at the Eco-Power stadium this Sunday, as they play their final home game of the season against Bedworth United in the FAWNL Division One Midlands.
It’s been a season full of twists and turns for Andy Butler’s side who have only lost once at home in the league all season and only dropping four points in the process.
The Belles come into this fixture off the back of a frustrating goalless draw with Peterborough United, but which takes their unbeaten run to three games in the league.
Belles manager Andy Butler expects a tough game with Bedworth on Sunday. “It was a tough game in the reverse fixture and I expect more of the same.
“They are mathematically down but there won’t be any pressure on them so they will do what they want.
“We have to focus on getting the basics right and see where we can hurt Bedworth because we are still fighting for top spot.
Bedworth currently sit 12th in the league with two wins and 18 defeats. In their last fixture, they were seen off 1-0 by Solihull Moors to make it five games without a win.
In the reverse fixture back in September, goals from Jess Price, Nadia Khan and Jasmine Saxton sealed a 3-2 win for the Belles in a thrilling end-to-end game.
The Belles are hoping that a big crowd will help Andy Butler’s side close the gap at the top of the table and keep up the pressure on the teams around them.
