The Belles resume league action on Sunday, as they travel to Cambridgeshire to face Peterborough United in the FA WNL Division One Midlands.
Andy Butler’s side will look to bounce back after a narrow defeat to Huddersfield Town a week ago in the County Cup.
League form has been good for the Belles recently, having lost only one of the last nine and recording back-to-back five goal victories against Leafield Athletic and Burton Albion, conceding just one goal in the process.
Opponents Peterborough United sit five places below in seventh place, with six wins, four draws and seven defeats. Their last result in the league, saw them draw 1-1 at home with Leafield Athletic.
United were promoted from the 5th tier last season and will be looking to consolidate their status at Tier 4 level.
It’s a game that produces close encounters. The Belles got the better of the Posh in the reverse fixture by 2-1 with goals from Jasmine Saxton and Nadia Khan.
A win for Andy Butler’s side will close the gap on leaders Boldmere St Michaels at the top of the table with a handful of games remaining.
