The Belles return to action in the FAWNL Division One North on Sunday [November 5, 2pm] for the first time in a month as they visit Durham Cestria at Sunderland Ford Hub.
A break for cup action was followed by the postponement of the scheduled trip to Chester-le-Street Town, so the Belles are itching to make their mark in the league under the stewardship of interim manager Shaun Hird.
The Belles have won their previous two matches – beating FC Manton of Worksop in the Sheffield and Hallamshire FA Cup before seeing off Mansfield Town in the FA Cup.
Hosts Cestria will be seeking to bounce back from a 4-2 defeat to AFC Fylde in the FAWNL Cup.
That was a first defeat in six for the Wildcats, who scored 19 goals in their unbeaten five match run to help them climb to seventh in the league.
Faye Dale and Alisha Clarke-Mainwaring both top the scoring charts for Cestroa, with six apiece so far – though the latter netted her haul in three fewer appearances.
Anyone wishing to support the Belles in the north east this weekend can travel to Sunderland Ford Hub, which is at Keelman's Lane, South Hylton, SR4 0RW.
The Belles will return to action on home soil on November 12 when they host Rugby Borough in the first round of the FA Cup at the Iqbal Poultry Stadium in Moorends. To purchase tickets, click HERE.
