New Belles manager Ciaran Toner is relishing the prospect of his first game in charge of the club this weekend.
The Belles travel to Millmoor Juniors Development in the Sheffield and Hallamshire FA Cup on Sunday, with Toner taking the side for the first time since his appointment.
“For me, matchday is where it’s at,” Toner said.
“The majority of the work has to be done in training to prepare the players for the exciting matchday scenario and that’s where it all boils up to.
“If we’re not going into game days excited about what’s to come and the uncertainty of that as well, then we’re probably in the wrong game.”
