The Belles have purchased a new camera system to record and stream matches thanks to generous donations from supporters’ groups.
The Main and Retford branches of the Doncaster Rovers Supporters’ Club have donated £1,000 and £500 respectively which has enabled the purchase of a Veo Sports Camera system.
This allows the club to automatically record matches to help with performance analysis as well as providing footage for highlights packages.
We also intend to provide a live streaming service for future away matches, with supporters able to purchase match passes to view the Belles in action.
Belles strategic lead Chris Wood said: “These donations will make a tremendous difference at the club and we are incredibly grateful to the members of the Supporters’ Club for thinking of us.
“The footage taken will help new manager Ciaran Toner and the coaching staff in their development of the players.
“And we are very excited by the prospect of streaming our away matches so we can bring our supporters closer to the action.
“From everyone at the club, a big thank you to the Supporters’ Club.”
Details of the streaming service will be made available in due course.
