The Belles make their return to the Eco-Power Stadium this Sunday [October 8] as they entertain Middlesbrough in the Women’s National League Division One North at 2pm.
The Belles come into the game on the back of a defeat against Derby County in the National League Plate but have an opportunity to secure back-to-back wins the league, having beaten Norton & Stockton Ancients last time out.
A tougher test awaits Sam Winch and Alex Nogueira’s side in their homecoming though as fourth-placed Boro come to town.
Michael Mulhern’s side currently sit two points ahead of the Belles having played an extra game and are just four off the top spot.
Despite being among the league’s strongest, Middlesbrough travel out of form and have not won since beating Leeds United 1-0 last month.
Goalless draws against at Stockport County and Barnsley followed before most recently also losing 3-1 in the NL Plate against Sutton Coldfield Town.
Therefore, the two sides have enjoyed similar fortunes at the start of this term.
Nichole Havery leads the club’s scoring charts so far this season with two goals in six games.
Tickets for Sunday’s game are priced at £4 for adults, £3 for 14-17 year-olds and £1 for 13 and under. Purchase your tickets now by clicking HERE.
