The Belles will travel to Rotherham United in the First Round of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Women’s Challenge Cup on Sunday, September 17.

As a result of the Rotherham tie the scheduled home game against Chorley in the league will now be postponed, further details to follow.

Elsewhere, the Belles have received a bye through to the ‘proper’ rounds of the FA Women’s National League Plate.

Due to other clubs withdrawing, the competition has been reduced in size this year, with a Preliminary Round draw necessary to even up the amount of clubs remaining.

Once those Preliminary Round ties have been played out on September 10, we will then find out who the Belles will face in the next round of that particular competition.

Subsequently, here’s how September now shapes up for Sam Winch and Alexandre Brito Nogueira’s side, starting with this Sunday’s first home game of the campaign against Leeds United.

September - All fixtures in league unless otherwise stated

Sunday 3rd - Leeds United (H - Iqbal Poultry Stadium - 2pm KO)

Thursday 7th - Hull City (A - Barton Town FC - 7.45pm KO)

Sunday 10th - Stockport County (A - Stockport Sports Village - 2pm KO)

Sunday 17th - Rotherham United (A - Roundwood Sports Complex - 2pm KO) - County Cup

Sunday 24th - Norton & Stockton Ancients (A - Norton Sports Complex - 2pm KO)
