In the latest Rovers Alliance prize draw, Alliance member Andrew Poppleton was invited down to the Keepmoat Stadium to feature in the Doncaster Rovers Official 2012/13 team photo.  Andrew was lucky enough to spend some of the afternoon observing behind the scenes action of the official team photo-shoot and will also receive a copy of the photo signed by the team.

At the end of July, Alliance members were also entered into a draw to win a Doncaster Rovers shirt, signed by all 6 Doncaster Rovers players that have progressed through the Youth team; Jordan Ball, James Husband, Jonathan Maxted, Liam Wakefield, Paddy Mullen and Jake McCormick. Along with a signed print which was taken as the Rovers Youth team were crowned winners at the 2011/12 Youth Alliance Cup.

The lucky winner of the draw is Mr Andrew Poppleton who was invited to the Keepmoat Stadium to collect his prize.

Upon collecting the prize Andrew was keen to share his views on all things Youth;

“As an Alliance member, it’s great to see that the Youth Team are now reaping the benefits of the Alliance and that we get to see the results of the money that we put in to support the Youth development.

“I am keen to support the Youth as they are the future of our Club. Despite a difficult season, I am really looking forward to next season and think that, at the very least, we will have a top 6 finish.”

The next Alliance prize draw will take place at the end of August and will give Alliance members the chance to win a trip to the Doncaster Rovers training ground; details will be announced on the official website.

The Rovers Alliance not only helps raise vital funds for the Youth System, but is packed full of exclusive benefits for members. For more information regarding the Rovers Alliance please call 01302 764659 and ask for Jade or e-mail
