Rovers haven’t played the Mistermen since they were relegated to the Conference in 2004.

Doncaster Rovers take on newly promoted York City in tomorrow afternoon’s season curtain raiser.

The weather for Saturday afternoon game looks perfect for football, early fog clearing to reveal a clear sky with sunny spells.

The afternoon not only marks the opening weekend of the football fixture list, but also the beginning of a new era in the Doncaster Rovers history book as the club will official re-open the Keepmoat Stadium after being given full control of the running of the facility.
