Donny Dog has been very busy over the past few weeks appearing at various events within the community and the club will keep you posted on such activities on a regular basis.
Christmas is almost here and on 15 November I was invited to the light switch on in Doncaster Town Centre where I had a really good time. I had so many pictures taken and everyone was very happy. My favorite part was the countdown to the button being pressed and everyone looking up at all the fantastic lights. Some people even stayed behind to have more pictures with me! Thank you everyone!
Since then I have been to various away games and I have to say the support has been great. I travelled to Portsmouth where we won 1-0, then we beat Scunthorpe United 4-0 back at the Keepmoat where the atmosphere was great. My Gangnam Style goal celebrations were very much enjoyed by the many supporters who attended the match.
Next stop was Oldham at home where we won 1-0. The goal celebration involving David Cotterill jumping over the advertising boards was one of my many highlights.
I then travelled to Boundary Park to play Oldham in the FA Cup, although the result didn't go in our favor it was still an enjoyable day.
On Sunday 2 December I was invited to the Bluebell Wood Christmas Party where I received a warm welcome by everybody and even got the chance to dance with the children. It was a fantastic day for everyone involved, and I even took part in a dance off with their mascot Fern - the song we danced to was Gangnam Style which has to be one of my favourite dances!
Next up was Swindon Town which has to be one of my most memorable away days yet. I met Rockin Robin, the Swindon Mascot, who I was able to dance with in the centre circle much to the delight of the fans in attendance! It was a great performance and result considering Swindon had a lot of chances and even hit the woodwork. After my performance, though, I think I will get tips from Gary Woods next time I am in the net!!!
I'm really looking forward to our next match at home – Coventry City on 15 December.
Please come down to Keepmoat Stadium and support the lads.
