Rovers fans get a taste of the future at Forum Event
Football fans are being offered the chance to kick off the New Year with a special session with Doncaster Rovers owners John Ryan and Dick Watson and get a taste of things to come as Spotless showcase food from their new menu.
The club, which held a similar event before they took over management of the Keepmoat Stadium, promised fans more opportunities to hear the latest information from the owners and provide them with a chance to put their questions forward.
Gavin Baldwin, chief executive of Doncaster Rovers, said: “We are pleased to announce that our second fans forum will take place on January 7 2013, giving our fans the opportunity to hear the latest for the club and the stadium from the key people involved.
“This kind of event is vitally important to us as we look ahead to an exciting 2013. The event is free but tickets are required and we are encouraging as many fans as possible to come along and have their say.
“Spotless, our catering company, will be using the event to provide samples of food from their new menu and kiosks will be open to show fans that the work has started.”
Club owners John Ryan and Dick Watson will be in attendance joined by Rovers Chief Executive, Gavin Baldwin, Spotless Operations Director, Rob Smyth, and supporters club and VSC representatives, Len South, Paul Mayfield and Martin O’Hara.
As part of the meeting the club will feedback on progress since they took charge of the stadium and outline plans which will further improve the offering for 2013.
There will be a signer in attendance for any deaf fans who wish to attend the forum.
The event, which will be held in the Premier Lounge at the Keepmoat Stadium starting at 6pm, is free to attend and all supporters are welcome. Tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis, these are available from the Keepmoat ticket office.
