Tasty style off the field for Rovers

25 July 2012

Doncaster Rovers fans will get the opportunity to try the new taste sensations heading to the Keepmoat Stadium next season.

As part of the “In Rovers We Trust” update taking place in the Lakeside Bar from 12pm prior to the Sheffield Wednesday fixture, Rovers fans will be able to sample some of the new food that will be on offer next season.

Shaun Lockwood from Rovers said:  “Following the ‘In Rovers We Trust’ survey results we promised fans that we would look closely at the food and drinks we offer at the Stadium. This is an on-going process and we are committed to improving the quality of food on offer and have worked with fans at our forum to get to the stage we are at now”.

Meanwhile the Club can also confirm food and drink prices for 2012/13 season.  The good news for fans is that the £5 pie and a pint offer is back, as is bottled beer at £2.50 a bottle.  Meanwhile families can also purchase a kids lunch box consisting of a mini hot dog, piece of fruit, chocolate bar and soft drink for just £3 in the DCLT family area.  Around the ground a hot drink and a chocolate bar can also be purchased for just £2.50.

Martin O’Hara from the Viking Supporters Trust said “We are really pleased that DRFC and its partners are responding positively to the suggestions and concerns voiced by the Rovers fans in the recent survey, and that we have a club which is putting the supporters first.”
