Rovers Fans Set For Delicious Stadi-yum

28 November 2012

Doncaster Rovers fans are set to enjoy an enhanced match day experience thanks to major food and beverage changes at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Since the club took over the management of the stadium in September, Rovers and catering partners Spotless, have been listening to feedback from fans and working hard to improve facilities.

Better quality products have already started to be introduced on the concourse, the price of a pint has been reduced by 10 pence and hawking has been trialled in the family area.

New plans, entitled Stadi-yum, have now been revealed which will see concourse food and beverages undergo major refurbishment in the coming weeks, as stand by stand the new changes will be implemented.

The new look food and drink kiosks will provide fans with more choice including pizza,  premium hot dogs and fruit bags all being added to the matchday menu. Fans will also be able to purchase freshly made soup and sandwiches. Donny’s tuck shop will be launched for younger supporters with pick and mix sweets, popcorn and healthy kids bags all set to be available.

Spotless will also be introducing a new hot drink facility with top quality coffee and other hot beverages on offer. The price of standard tea and coffee will be reduced due on the installation of this new facility.

Gavin Baldwin, Chief Executive of Doncaster Rovers FC, said: “We are delighted to announce our innovative food and beverage changes. We have spent many weeks planning the changes and the majority of our improvements are being made following feedback from the In Rovers We Trust Project.

“It will be great to offer our supporters such a wide range of affordable food and drink options and I look forward to seeing how well the improvements will be received by fans.
