Manager Dean Saunders has urged supporters to ‘sing their hearts out’ during tomorrow night’s League One encounter against Crewe Alexandra.
Impressive victories over Brentford, Tranmere Rovers and Notts County have seen Dean Saunders men climb the league table and the side are currently sitting in fifth position with a game in hand over teams around them.
In an interview with doncasterroversfc.co.uk ahead of the game, Dean spoke about the part that supporters can play in his side’s quest to make it four league victories on the bounce and continue the form shown of late.
‘We go into the game against Crewe on Tuesday night on the back of three league victories on the bounce,’ he said
‘We progressed in the FA Cup on Saturday too, so we are on a four game winning streak, in all competitions, and we need to keep that run going but we need the supporter to play their part too.’
‘The players really appreciate the support the fans give and it does give them a lift. I want to ask all supporters to get involved and sing the ‘Molly Malone’ song, which I am told was a fans favourite at Belle Vue – sing your hearts out and let’s make it our song.’
