Doncaster Rovers are pleased to announce that in partnership with Spotless and based on feedback from supporters there will be a reduction in beer prices at the ground by the end of October.
Starting at Rovers fixture against Brentford on Saturday 20 October a pint of beer will be reduced by 10p. The Club are aware that for most this change is not significant but urge fans to consider this as a symbol of both parties intent to try and assist fans with all aspects of a match day experience.
Following negotiations with the brewery the Club are also pleased to announce that Spotless have secured the rights of a bespoke bitter for Keepmoat Stadium, exclusive to Doncaster Rovers and the Belle Vue Bar. We will be asking fans for naming suggestions on this bitter soon and we can also reveal that the price of the bitter will be at £3.10, a 20p saving on the normal cost of a pint at Keepmoat Stadium.
Spotless have also confirmed to the Club that bottled beer will continue to retail from £2.50 per bottle, whist the popular pie and a pint for £5 offer will also remain. Meanwhile very soon Spotless will be providing a Hawking service for fans, allowing them to purchase refreshments without having to leave their seats.
As Spotless declare their intention to follow in the footsteps of Doncaster Rovers, they have confirmed to the Club that they will be looking to allow a junior football team the opportunity to raise funds from a catering kiosk on matchday. As part of a new scheme, volunteers from a junior football team will be given training and the ability to work in a catering kiosk with proceeds going to the junior football club, full details to be revealed on the Club website soon.
Finally Doncaster Rovers can reveal that Spotless have provided the timeline and final designs of the concourses for Keepmoat Stadium and we will be revealing these to fans in the next few days. Doncaster Rovers have been amazed by the designs and are sure fans will love what Spotless intend to do.
The Club understand that to some the price changes and offers are not massive, however we urge fans to understand the symbolism of what the Club and Spotless are working in partnership to achieve and to continue to have patience as we try to improve Keepmoat Stadium.
