Bodyrockers Rocked The Keepmoat!

29 October 2012

Doncaster Rovers recently welcomed local dance group ‘The Bodyrockers’ as Rovers prepared to take on Shrewsbury Town, the Bodyrockers prepared to rock the Keepmoat!

The Bodyrockers, based in Thorne, are an urban dance school specialising in street and hip hop dance with a contemporary twist.

The Bodyrockers took centre stage both pre-match and at half time during the Shrewsbury game, with break dancing, technical lifts, and dance moves that wowed the Rovers audience. The dance troop were also lucky enough to spend some time pitch side and had photos taken with Rovers captain Rob Jones, Jamie McCombe and Kyle Bennett.

“Little stars was an amazing opportunity for Bodyrockers not only is it great advertising but also a great experience that my Bodyrocking students will never forget. They were so excited at the chance to perform on the pitch in front of thousands. I can honestly say I think I was more nervous than them, the big arena and thousands watching didn't seem to phase them one bit.

The Bodyrockers were buzzing with excitement and couldn't wait after their first performance to get on a second time! Thank you so much Doncaster Rovers for giving us this amazing opportunity and experience and we hope you will have us back very soon!"
Victoria Curran – Body rockers Dance School owner/troop leader
