Roll up, roll up – the circus is coming to Doncaster!

For one week only, the illusionists, trapeze artists and jugglers of Circus Mondao will be clowning around and entertaining crowds at Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium.

Audiences will be able to enjoy the beauty of zebras and camels at the dazzling family friendly shows, which run from Tuesday 9 – Sunday 14 October. They will take place in a traditional big top tent on the grassed area behind the stadium’s East Stand.

Gavin Baldwin, chief executive of Doncaster Rovers, which last month took over the lease of the stadium, said: “Circus Mondao puts on some fantastic acts and have performed at the Keepmoat before.

“We are delighted to welcome them back and give the people of Doncaster the chance to see a traditional circus act on their doorstep. The Keepmoat Stadium is a community facility for everyone to enjoy and Doncaster Rovers are keen for it to host events like this.”

Circus Mondao’s shows will be at 5pm and 7.30pm from Tuesday – Friday, with performances at 2pm and 5pm on Saturday and 2pm only on Sunday.

Tickets are priced from £14 for adults and £10 for children, although all seats on Tuesday 9 October are available for just £5.99.

Doncaster Rovers supporters can receive a special discount for the circus by downloading the following VOUCHER or picking one up at the Keepmoat Stadium ticket office from Tuesday 25 September.
