Officials and fans of Doncaster Rovers have been disturbed by the report of unruly behaviour which was witnessed at Saturday’s match at Hartlepool.

Individuals, supposedly ‘supporting’ DRFC, engaged in aggressive behaviour at the ground which has severely damaged the reputation which true Rovers’ fans have enjoyed over many years.

Following on from the unpleasant incident orchestrated by one of our fans recently at Leyton Orient, DRFC club officials are actively working in partnership with other organisations to identify individuals who are tarnishing the club’s reputation through such unruly behaviour.

In support of the Football League’s campaign to eradicate abusive and aggressive behaviour within football grounds, DRFC condemns the actions of any individual(s) behaving in a manner likely to jeopardise the safety or

enjoyment of others in attendance, and thus tarnishing the reputation of the club’s travelling contingent of excellent supporters.

DRFC officials are investigating fully the evidence of crowd disturbances which were witnessed at Hartlepool, and will not hesitate to action ‘bans’ wherever appropriate.
