Community Kiosk For Football Fans

5 October 2012

Doncaster Rovers are delivering their promise of ensuring the Keepmoat Stadium is a Community stadium for everyone, thanks to a fantastic initiative from new stadium caterers, Spotless.

Spotless are looking to donate the workings of a match day kiosk to volunteers from a local junior football club, allowing the junior football club to fundraise as part of the process.

The volunteers from the sports team will receive the relevant food hygiene certificate training from Spotless and will then be allowed to run the kiosk under supervision.

As part of the process Spotless will donate the funds they usually pay to its catering staff to the junior football team, whilst the junior football team can also use collection tins to raise further funds.

Shaun Lockwood, marketing manager at Doncaster Rovers, said: “Doncaster Rovers are a community club and we are proud to reinforce our efforts towards giving something back to our local junior sporting teams.

“We welcome any local teams who thinks they’ve got what it takes to get in touch, and we look forward to showcasing a new community-led kiosk which we’re sure our fans will welcome with open arms."

Teams who would like to be considered to run the kiosk should email marketing@doncasterroversfc.co.uk anytime over the next two weeks to register their interest.

Tickets for Doncaster Rovers 2012/13 home matches are now on sale, with prices starting at £20 for adults and £5 for children. For more information click HERE
