Fowler Confirmed For Charity Game

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler is the latest player to be confirmed for the Rovers XI to play in Monday evening charity game.

One Direction member, Louis Tomlinson will bring his football team, the Three Horseshoes, to the Keepmoat Stadium on Monday 22nd October for the special charity match. We understand that the rest of the band will also be in attendance to support Louis and the work he is doing for the charity.

Rovers have now received confirmation, of their participation in the game, from the following players:   

Robbie Fowler: (Ex Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester City)
Neil Roberts - (Ex Rovers and Wigan) Striker
Ian Snodin - (Ex Rovers, Leeds and Everton) Midfielder
Glynn Snodin - (Ex Rovers, Wednesday and Leeds) Full-back
Craig Short - (Ex Everton, Blackburn and Sheff Utd) Defender
Chris Short - (Ex Notts County, Sheff Utd and Stoke) Defender
Dean Windass - (Ex Bradford City and Hull City) Striker 
Gareth Taylor - (Ex Rovers, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest) Striker
Dean Saunders - (Rovers Manager, Liverpool and Aston Villa) Striker
Brian Carey - (Rovers assistant Manager, Leicester City and Wrexham) Defender
