Pay On The Gate And Sing Your Hearts Out

30 October 2012

Doncaster Rovers are pleased to confirm that they will be extending the trial for both cash turnstiles and singing section for the Club’s FA Cup 1st Round clash with Bradford Park Avenue.

As part of the In Rovers We Trust project fans suggested the club test a cash turnstile and a singing section, Doncaster Rovers were pleased to trial this for the Chesterfield JPT fixture and have decided to replicate this for the FA Cup at the Stadium.

Just over 1000 seats will be made available in blocks 16 and 17 (SSB and SSC) of the Polypipe stand for both the cash turnstile trial and the singing section (Use Turnstiles 14 /15 and 16). Of these 1000 seats, just over 300 belong to season ticket holders. Rather than not allocate the seat of the season ticket holder for the cup clash, Doncaster Rovers are giving season ticket holders in this area three days to confirm if they wish to purchase their seat.

With regards the singing section, Doncaster Rovers are encouraging fans to go into these areas if they wish to form part of the singing section. Led by the Rovers drummer, the Club are keen for fans to get behind the team and build the atmosphere at Keepmoat Stadium.

The club are keen to point out that the cash turnstile and singing section however is not a standing area, as standing is not permitted within the ground.

Tickets for the game are priced at £10 for adults and £1 for children aged 16 or under. Please note Juniors 16yrs and under will be required to provide proof of age at the turnstiles. The game will be played on Saturday 3rd November 3pm Kick Off
