Doncaster Rovers are delighted to announce Alice Worsdale as the lucky winner of £2,000 courtesy of the Rovers Lottery.
Alice is a loyal Doncaster Rovers supporter and has been a season ticket holder for many years witnessing many memorable Rovers games both at Belle Vue and more recently Keepmoat Stadium.
Alice has participated in the Rovers lottery ever since it started and had had winnings previously including meal and cinema tickets.
Doncaster Rovers invited Alice to Keepmoat Stadium to receive her cheque of £2,000. Upon receiving her winnings, Alice spoke about the shock she experienced when she logged on to the official website and found out that she had won the Rovers Lottery jackpot:
’I went on the internet on Monday morning to read about Saturday’s game, when I was on there I checked the lottery results only to find that I had won £2,000!
’I just couldn’t believe it. I started ringing my family to let them know!
’My husband and I will be celebrating our Golden Wedding anniversary on a few weeks time so the winnings will come in useful for that.’’
