Worksop Town boys were treated to a day out at the Keepmoat with a Doncaster Rovers Group Gold Experience.
The experience was a reward for their hard work this season, one that has hopefully inspired them to continue achieving. The boys have had a fun and successful year, which has seen them develop significantly and score over 160 goals.
The boys kicked off the morning with a VIP stadium tour and were lucky enough to meet Billy Paynter and Manager Brian Flynn whilst soaking up the atmosphere in the first team dressing room on a match day.
This was followed by a football training session with the Rovers Foundation coaches, before taking up the role as official flag bearers at kick off.
Worksop Town then returned to the Keepmoat pitch at half time as they tested their shot in a penalty shoot out in front of the Rovers faithful.
‘The boys had an absolutely fantastic time on their experience day. Please pass on our huge thanks to all involved for making it a special day that the boys will remember for a very long time!’ - Andy Parnell (Worksop Town Manager).
Doncaster Rovers would like to thank Worksop Town and manager Andy and wish them the best of luck for next season.
