Three of Rovers Academy teams have made the trip north of the border to take part in a mini tour of Scotland.
Rovers Academy U12s, U13s and U14s teams have played the first game this afternoon when they faced teams in their age groups from Scottish First Division club Falkirk.
Rovers U12s beat their Scottish counterpart 3-1 with goals from Reives Boocock (2) and Sam Caygill, whilst the U13s lost out 2-0 and the U14s lost out 1-0.
The next opponents for the young Rovers are Glasgow Rangers on Sunday.
Paul Wilson “This is a great opportunity for the young lads to be together over a few days and face sides that they never usual get change to play against.
“It is a good chance for the coaches to work with them over this period which will help the teams bond they progress through the academy”
