War hero Ben Parkinson will deliver the matchball to the field of play as Rovers take on Notts County on Saturday.
Ben is a season ticket holder at the club, and along with his step father Andrew Dernie can be seen at the Keepmoat Stadium on a Saturday afternoon cheering on the lads.
Earlier this season Ben was invited down to Rovers Training Ground, by former manager Dean Saunders, to observe the players training.
During the visit Ben and Dean made a promise that if Rovers were to win promotion back to the Championship the pair would walk to the centre circle together to deliver the matchball.
Although Dean is no longer at the club, Doncaster Rovers will still be honouring this promise and Ben will be delivering the matchball ahead of the game on Saturday.
