Brown: We Have To Enjoy It

9 April 2013

Rovers Striker Chris Brown spoke to Rovers Player ahead of this evening’s game against Carlisle.

After two fantastic home performances against Swindon Town and Tranmere Rovers, Brown has called for more of the same against the Cumbrians.

“It’s a massive game,” he said

“Rob [Jones] said this morning that it is a bigger game than the last two. We’ve just got to make sure that we turn up and play the exact same way that we did for them.

“Everyone one of us are enjoying it and wanting games to come as soon as possible. The last two performances were brilliant, and when it’s like that you want to be playing all the time.

“We are top of the league and have just got to enjoy everything that happens and with that performances will come.”

“As a team we don’t know when we are beaten; I don’t know how many games we have scored in the last five minutes of games but I think it will be quite high.

“Times like these can change in one game. If we lose a game and others win we will soon be looking over our shoulders.

“It is a cliché but we can’t afford to lose because with Bournemouth and Yeovil playing as well as they are if we slip up they will look to overtake us.

On opponenets Carlisle Brown said: “I haven’t really seen any of their results to be honest but just from what Rob has told us we know that they have got legs in midfield with good wingers outside them – they’ve got a lot of energy in the team, we’ve got make sure that we are on our game.”
