Following on from their marathon bike ride from Doncaster to Brentford, our intrepid cyclists Ricky Parrish and Paul Connell, will have little time to recover after completing the 170 mile trip.
On Saturday they will climb off their bikes at Griffin Park and locate themselves at the Rovers fans’ turnstiles prior to kick-off, and offer Rovers fans the opportunity to donate towards Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
Our colleagues at Brentford have kindly given permission for Ricky and Paul to position themselves at the turnstiles with official collecting buckets in aid of Bluebell Wood. They will instantly be recognizable in their Bluebell Wood T-shirts, and will be asking Rovers fans to help them on their way to raising £1,000 in aid of the hospice.
DRFC should like to praise Ricky and Paul in undertaking this fundraising bike ride, and encourage our travelling supporters at Brentford to contribute towards their target if at all possible.
