Manager Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player after his side earned a point against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
Dickov was complimentary of the effort and desire that his players showed during the game and paid special tribute to the teams defensive qualities.
“Being 2-0 up you want to try and see the game out,” said Dickov
“The one thing we were up against today was a top quality team with a lot of international and Premier League class players.
“To come here and compete like we did and get a point from the game shows how far we have all come as a group in a short space of time. It’s disappointing being 2-0 up and not winning the game, but there were lots of positives to take from tonight.
“You know when you come here that Wigan are going to have a lot of possession you also know that they are going to create chances - I thought defensively we were magnificent.
“I can’t speak highly enough of my boys for the attitude and desire they have show and the willingness to go and do what we have asked them to.”
