JCI Doncaster Lawyers Secret Santa

9 December 2013

JCI Doncaster have launched their annual Secret Santa Appeal and are proud to be doing this again in conjunction with Doncaster Junior Lawyers.

The appeal hopes to bring Christmas to local children who might otherwise not receive a present this year.   We are asking people to buy an extra gift that will be donated to children through the Local Authority for children in care and Women’s Aid for children who have had to flee domestic violence.  There is no minimum or maximum price range for the gift and we are collecting for both boys and girls aged between 0 and 18 years old.

To demonstrate how much the appeal changes the lives of local people, here is just one example from previous appeals:

'The presents we collected yesterday evening have provided for a family whom were fleeing domestic violence, leaving with no belongings. There were four children under five all of whom have fled with their mother. As a very vulnerable family these presents will go a long way to providing them with some happy Christmas memories and make a huge difference by putting a smile on the children’s faces on Christmas morning.'

Gifts can be donated, up until 15th December 2013, at:

Atherton Godfrey Solicitors, 8 Hall Gate in Doncaster Town Centre

Grainger Appleyard Solicitors, 26-27 Hallgate , Doncaster Town Centre

Doncaster Rovers Football Club (Keepmoat Stadium)

Lakeside Village (exact shop to be confirmed)

Alternatively collections can be arrange by contacting president@jcidoncaster.org.uk or 07780642469.

Please follow the appeal on Twitter @SSAppealDN and encourage your followers to support.

No child should have to go without a gift to open on Christmas Day.
