Paul Dickov gives his reaction after Doncaster's boxing day defeat to Ipswich Town
Rovers Manager Paul Dickov spoke to Rovers Player after the defeat to the Tractor Boys at the Keepmoat this Boxing Day.
"There is a lot of disappointment because of the performance. We've seen a team come here who are on a good run and us who are lacking confidence with some big players missing.
"To concede two goals with two players not picking up who they're marking. You can legislate for tactics, you can legislate for team selection but you can't for people switching off at important times.
"I hope it doesn't sound like I'm making excuses because the one thing I'll do is stand up and be counted but we have nine players out!
"What the group we have at the minute have to do is stay together, we've just stayed in the changing room and had a good chat about that. When things go against you and when your missing key players you really have to roll your sleeves up.
"We are letting our heads go down too easily at the minute, that is something I've never done as a player and never let happen as a manager."
On injuries Dickov added; "We are hopeful that one or two will be back from injury but it is still a large injury list. In terms of players coming in, it has been spoken about a board level, we are making inroads and will hopefully be getting a few in come January."
