PD: Played Well & Came Away With Nothing

21 December 2013

Rovers Player spoke to Paul Dickov after the defeat to in form Derby County at the iPro Stadium.

Paul said; "We are disappointed, forgive me for sounding like a broken record but I thought we played well today but have come away with nothing and conceded three goals.

"The defending for the three goals was poor on our part, the second goal came literally seconds after we felt we should have had a penalty. Theo Robinson has to take credit for being honest and staying on his feet.

"We know we have a relatively young back four that are a little bit inexperienced but we are working with them all the time and it just seems to be at the minute that when they do make a mistake we seem to concede. We will keep faith with them because it's who we have got at the minute and we will keep trying to play our football.

"The one thing we tried to do at two-nil, we tried to play, keep playing and cause them problems. It's no conciliation when we hear that we are the best team that have been to a ground who worked them but I would rather be the worse and take some points.

"Harry Forrester came on which is fantastic for us, he has shown everybody today that he is not fully fit yet but will be top quality for us. When he came on they could cope with the system and Harry."
